![]() If left at 0, the 63 sector offset/alignment is used for the restored partition. ![]() When I tried to resize the first partition as part of the restore process, TI would reset the "space before" value to 0.For example: After restoring the first partition, the starting offset was still 2048. Restoring a partition back into its existing space kept the offset/alignment.This is consistent with previous versions. Restoring an Entire Disk Image keeps the offset/alignment.All tests were done using the Full Mode (Linux-based) version of TI. The first partition was 20GB and started at offset 2048 (1MB). My test drive had two partitions created with Vista. The results are not what I expected, but they're better than previous versions. I've run several tests in a VM using TI 2010 (build 5,055) to check how the offset is handled.
